TECHNOLOGICAL ASPECTS


As opposed to the traditional rabbit-breeding, the environmentally sound rabbit-rising method offered by the “Rabbax Technology” is intensive and allows for a large labor costs reduction.  The method founders as well as many other enthusiasts are sure that even a retired person can handle an eco-farm. One needs just about 2 hours a week to cope with all the necessary things.  
The method peculiarities:

  • Self-feeding – the animals eat 80 times per 24 hours, just the way they do in the natural environment. At the same time they are neither overfed nor suffer from diarrheic diseases;  
  • The feed standardization (certain amount of palletized feed and hay) helps to avoid stress while changing the nurture;
  • Baby rabbits stay with their mother for 3 months and are not weaned in 3-4 weeks as it was recommended by the traditional farming technologies. The prolongation of a suckling period lifts young rabbits’ immunity, is far more effective in reducing morbidity rate than traditional inoculation (by the way, the vaccine effect is based on the immune reaction, and what if immunity is broken?) and, finally, contributes to a rapid rabbit growth. In fact, a generational change will definitely make the livestock population healthier as parasites will have no time for maturing;   
  • Warming up the drinking water  and maternity barns in winter assure a rapid all-year growth of rabbits on mini-farms;
  • A cleanup system guarantees hygiene and the absence of offensive odor (which is important not only for rabbit-breeders but for relatives and neighbors as well); 
  • The minimization of a rabbit-human contact protects animals from stress, as an ordinary rabbit does not like being squeezed and pulled even if not touched its ears
A 4 months old eco-rabbit gains the slaughter weight of 3-4 kg, its meat being low in cholesterol yet.  The dietary meat tastes like game. Thus, a specification for the particular meat properties is added to the recipes for dishes made of rabbit-accelerators.  Not only rabbit meat but also its fell possess the characteristic properties.  A good size of the fell and its durability (their growth is equal, with no interruptions brought about by ablactation,  nurture change,  antibiotic courses of treatment, breaks in feeding, staff negligence) are the things that distinguish  them from any other.

            We can often hear a question: is eco-rabbit a breed?   No, it is not. This is a rabbit whose ancestors were kept in accordance with the requirements of “Rabbax Technology” for generations.  Specifically, these are the animals living in spacious and spotlessly clean houses called ECO-FARMS,  fed with their mothers’ milk until 3 months old, having an unlimited access to nurture (but eating 3.5 times less compared to rabbits raised on an ordinary farm), drinking  as much warmed in winter water as they wish an, in the long run, being not stuffed with drugs. In addition, they are dressed in the fur coat no less beautiful and qualitative than that of the polar fox.   
Purchasing an eco-rabbit for the sake of breeding is by no means all. If your farm looks like a barn containing boxes saturated with urine, a rabbit-accelerator will change into a banal retro rabbit within a short space of time.  Its meat will be also imparted with urine and its brood will gain the weight of 4-5 kg two or even three times more slowly as opposed to eco-rabbits.
The series of measures to create special conditions for rabbit-breeding together with the zootechnic actions allow for the most efficient animal raising. The method does not apply a selfish principle “Will a rabbit be of benefit to me?” generally accepted in the traditional rabbit-breeding. On the contrary, it adopts the following approach: “What does a rabbit need?” Everybody knows that the best return is got on a large investment.
The results turned out to be amazing and impossible to be achieved in the traditional rabbit-breeding.
